Automotive components manufacturer Steelbird International, and the Japan-based producer of rubber components, Fujikura Rubber Limited, have joined hands to offer best in class solutions to OEMs and aftermarket.
Founded by Late Tilak Raj Kapur in 1964, Steelbird International is a family-owned, professionally managed group that is growing at a rate of 22.7 percent annually (CAGR) in the auto component manufacturing sector of India.
Established in 1901 as Fujikura Electric Wire & Rubber Company Limited is active in a wide range of business areas in addition to the production of industrial rubber components. It manufactures and sells industrial materials, such as pneumatic controllers, anti-vibration mounts, and peripherals, printing materials, electrical and electronic equipment, rescue and life-saving equipment, and carbon shafts for golf clubs.

Headquartered in New Delhi, India, Steelbird International has its manufacturing facilities at Pantnagar in Uttarakhand, which is spread over 1,00,000 sqft. The company is growing both vertically and horizontally, with the establishment the Pant Nagar plant, with per day capacity of 40, 000 new-generation filters. The new plant is scheduled to start from January 2019, and 80 percent of the plant capacity has already been sold-out.
