The ninth edition of TRA’s Most Trusted Brands Report, India Study, 2019 (BTR 2019), has listed the country’s 1000 Most Trusted brands based on a primary study with consumer-influencers. Fifteen city-based brands are among the top 1000 listed in the report this year of which two brands make it to India’s Most Trusted 50 Brands.
Leading city-brands like Otto (All-India rank 23), TVS (42), MRF (107), Ashok Leyland (225), Apollo Hospitals (264), The Hindu (474) and Nippo (662) feature among India’s Most Trusted in the study. TRA Research, a part of the Comniscient Group, is a Brand Intelligence and Data Insights Company dedicated to understanding and analyzing stakeholder behaviour through two globally acclaimed proprietary matrices of Brand TrustTM and Brand AttractivenessTM.

TRA’s Brand Trust Report 2019 is the result of comprehensive primary research conducted on the proprietary 61-Attribute Brand Trust Matrix of TRA. This year’s study involved 15,000 hours of fieldwork and generated five million data points and 9,000 unique brands, from which the top 1000 brands have been listed in this year’s report. The study covered 2,315 consumer-influencers across 16 cities in India.
