Tata Motors’ Sanand Plant bags 25 awards

Tata Motors Sanand Plant has won 25 awards at 20th National Creativity Summit organized by Indian National Suggestion Schemes’ Association (INSSAN) in New Delhi, India. The theme of the summit was ‘Employee Creativity- A Key Factor for Business Sustainability’. Douglas Webster, COO, Delhi International Airport and Devendra Mishra, Executive Director, Shri Ram Pistons & Rings have jointly inaugurated the summit. The INSSAN is a non-profit making registered Association of Industrial & Business Organizations, dedicated to the promotion of Employee Involvement through Suggestions / Ideas. Founded in 1987, INSSAN has a membership of over 400 organisations representing all types of Indian Industries across the country.

Tata Motors Sanand won three awards in each category – essay, poem, poster, slogan, sujhav ratna, creativity champion and idea management champion and distinguished evaluator while two awards each in slogan and case study categories. The awards won were across levels including excellence, par excellence and distinguished.

Around 330 participants attended the summit from various industries like automobile & auto component OEMs, public sector, FMCG and infrastructure. Apart from Tata Motors Sanand Plant, Tata Motors Pantnagar Plant and Tata Motors Lucknow Plant, companies like Bharat Electronics, Hero MotoCorp, Munjal Showa, Mahindra & Mahindra, Delhi International Airport, Hero MotoCorp, Steel Authority of India and Shri Ram Pistons & Rings Limited were among the participants.

In 2017, Tata Motors Sanand Plant had won 17 awards at the 19th National Creativity Summit organized by INSSAN.
