Mercedes-Benz India has launched the AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ for Rs 15 million in India. It is equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that generates a 450 kW (612 hp) of power. It accelerates to 100 km/h from standstill in a mere 3.4 seconds, making it the quickest car in the entire Mercedes-AMG line-up. The official launch was done by Roland Folger, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.
“The Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ is the ultimate interpretation of a luxury performance saloon. To be precise, it is the most powerful E-Class in history. Our AMG strategy in India has been very well received by our discerning customers. We offer to our AMG customers, a large variety of cars to choose from. We offer at least one model each from the ‘43’, ‘45’ ’63’ and GT model range in India. The average AMG customer age in India is 30 years, which is a notable 7 years lesser than that of an average Mercedes-Benz buyer. We will be launching many more AMGs and dream cars through the year,” said Roland Folger.
